Fuck. I log on to check Twitter, something I almost never do, and one of the trending topics is “RIP Matt”. I clicked it, wondering who died or might have died, and it turns out to be another teen who took his life because of bullying.
This shit has to stop. Education should be something that is equated with safety, not something you need to “survive”. I’m so angry, mostly at parents and teachers. This is an issue that ALL parents should be talking to their kids about. This is an issue that schools need to wage a war against. Bullying is not something you have to “toughen up and take”. It needs to be crushed.
